George Romano
Originating from New York, singer, songwriter and hell-of-a guitarist George Romano is rockin' Southern California, building a solid fan-base with consistent high-energy, passionate shows.
When asked who his music compares to, his response was quick "Come see me play, judge for yourself!" which brings us to his favorite old Elvis Costello quote "Talking about music is like dancing about Architecture."
George wants everyone to know that he is first and foremost a fan of music, before anything else. He strives to give his audience the same kind of energy and connection he himself experiences while listening to his all time favorite's such as the Beatles, U2, Elvis Presley and Jimi Hendrix to name a few.
He played in a touring band called "Stone Caravan" that opened for "Bruce Springsteen & Joe Grushecky" and for other notable bands like ".38 Special" and "Blessed Union of Souls" giving him the opportunity to play in front of thousands of fans.
You can catch George Romano's melodic rock vibes as he continues playing the Hollywood scene at venues like the Gig, the Whisky, the Joint and the Roxy.
George recently completed his debut album for DreMak records of which he is now signed to. Hit producer Ron Dante produced the record and it’s expected release date is November 2004 . Keep an eye for it
George's band features L.A. veteran musicians Scotty Kormos on drums and vocals and Bruff Brigham on bass and vocals.
